The content warning made me think I wouldn't be able to get throught this, but honestly? Roman is just a gosh darn man in love. A girl deserves someone as loyal and in love as him. The man freaking murdered for her. The book was shocking at first but it's basically just a love story with two broken people.

I'm soooo torn. I was soooo deeply immersed in this book. So in love with Roman. & Then like 80% through I paused. I started to notice things.
Was this suppose to only focus on the romance and no plot? Or was the plot the foster care business? Because look, the romance was romancing. Roman was like the full package. Obsessed but head over heels in love, touch her and die. I can't even tell you how refreshing it is to see the bad boy, dangerous mmc loving out loud 24/7. The fmc was just a bore. No personality or anything. Why was she even there? Jk.
On to the plot. This is where I'm confused. What was the plot? What happened in those years? The end just moved fast. Sure. Maybe you're setting up the next book but it's looking like that's gonna be Damien's? Not a continuation? But this upcoming "plot" centered around Roman at first. So it's unfinished in this book. I just don't like that. It could've been closed up just a little more but it just seems like the ending was rushed. & It was all of sudden a happy ending. That's why I don't know what to rate this.
