Every page of this book had my attention
Mickey is just perfect… tattooed, brutal and completely obsessed with his Bella

Roman is such a sweet

I’m so conflicted about this book because I legitimately love everything about it….except Bella. It’s not even that I dislike her, I just dislike how she treats Roman. Why the f did it take until 91% for her to even once consider what Roman has been through? Holy god, Bella is selfish as hell.

Roman makes the whole book though. 10/10 worth it

Literally loved everything about this but god damn the FMC was annoying at some points. If you read Pushing The Limits by Katie McGarry in HS you’d love this book, same vibe just definitely not YA.

What is it About:
"Skin of a Sinner" unfolds a love story between foster kids Bella and Roman, navigating through childhood friendship, evolving crushes, and eventual love. However, the plot takes a dark turn when Roman faces imprisonment for defending Bella. As their lives unravel, themes of abuse, trauma, and questionable foster family dynamics come to light.

What I Thought:
My reading experience with "Skin of a Sinner" left much to be desired. The narrative felt like a Wattpad draft with cringey elements, lacking both plot structure and pacing. I felt transported back to high school and I didn't like it. The characters, particularly the protagonist Isabella (Bella), appeared poorly developed, contributing to an overall sense of mediocrity. The inconsistent portrayal of dark romance elements and the weak writing style further added to the disappointment. I really should learn to STOP taking tiktok recommendations.

How I Feel:
Disappointed by the lack of plot, character depth, and the cringey writing style.

Love this extremely dark romance with an obsessive Male Lead Character. So wrong and yet so right!
