I loved the flashback chapters that showed Roman and Isabella: how they first met, how they grew together, and all they went through together throughout the years. I loved little Roman. He was so sweet and tough and protective and damaged and angry. Bella was so cute with her lopsided pigtails and not being able to say her R's and her sad eyes. I really just wanted to give him a big hug and protect him and to pummel those mean kids for her.
I enjoyed learning about them both while he was in prison and she was without him. But I loved seeing them come back together. Her reactions to the savageness of his actions were really fun to see through both of their eyes. Roman is psycho at times but extremely protective of Bella, and I absolutely love seeing that side of him mix with the softness he has with her. I enjoyed their spice and their games of "tag," and I honestly would give up many things to play that with Roman.
