Probably the weakest series Stan Lee and Jack Kirby worked on. The base concept for the team we all know and love isn’t there, not to mention the vast majority of the characters. The writing is very dull honestly and it lacks the nuance that Claremont brought to the table years later, not to mention the scope of Fantastic Four or the relatability of Spider-Man. Only recommend die-hard X-Men fans revisit this era.
