Being a descendant of John Taylor I love to read books about his life, beliefs and convictions. This book is written by a descendant and with the other books that I have read on John Taylor I found this one a little bias against Brigham Young. I understand that John and Brigham didn't often (if ever) see eye to eye but I do believe that John sustained Brigham as the leader of the LDS Church. This book has insight and other information that you won't find elsewhere.
I would recommend this book to anyone that wants to have another look at John Taylor.
