Winter is a teenager, so I'm going to give her some grace. This is a book full of terrible decision making. I remember reading this book as a teen and really enjoying it. Now I'm just kinda annoyed by it. I think that's perks of growing up and maturing though.

A book that was assigned to a friend of mine, I picked it up to see what it was about and couldn't put it down. An excellent read about a different side of life that many don't face and so many wonder about.

Something I absolutely love about this book is that through it all Winter had consistently made bad choices lol. When I got to the end I still couldn't figure out if I liked her or not but, that didn't matter because I love the story.

The experiences and attitudes of the book's protagonist are so very, very far outside of anything I have ever had to deal with that I'm not sure what combination of fascination, disgust, pity, and admiration I have for her. I spent a lot of time shocked or shaking my head. Mostly I think that difference made it important for me to read this book.

This is not normally my type of book at all, but my boss gave it to me to read, so here I am.

A great book .
The journey of Winter feels so organic to me in many ways. The way Sister Soulja described her adventure is so unique, raw and real.
