Okay okay okay
Sooooo many characters!!! But this author is so good that I never got confused and had to go back to remember who was who!

So we have 3 FMC’s; Laurel, Paris, & Cassie

These women are no stranger to life’s struggles and their lives have really dealt them some terrible hands.

This story is full of life’s struggles, heartache, anger, remorse, forgiveness, love, friendship, & family

Such a wonderful and heartfelt story about not only surviving but thriving and all you need is some best friends and a good bottle of wine 🍷

2.8 rounded up. I typically really enjoy this author. This book was not my favorite. I love how she portrays positive and healthy relationships but like not every person in the world has endless wisdom. It felt like I was in a self help group the whole time. These characters all had their identities aka personality flaws and man, they were just brought up CONSTANTLY to the point where it was incredible annoying. I remember early on thinking "oh cool, a female with rage/anger issues. You don't read about that often" but then as its talking about constantly it got old. We get it . Or cassie with the fixing everyone. Cool BUT it doesnt need discussion on every page. And the kids 10 and 12 being as emotionally mature as most 30 year olds was just too much. The characters were likeable enough but the never ending wisdom and mini therapy sessions they were always having with each other was too much. I think this book would have been great 150 pages short minus all the fluff.

I listened to it on BookBeat. It was a good story to listen to and although the problems from the women were sometimes a little too much and on the nose, it was protrayed pretty well overall and how they dealt with it at the end.
