This was an enjoyable book. The main characters were likable as we watched each of the three female friends navigate their lives and grow. Cassie leaves the only home she's known, in Maine, for an exciting opportunity on the west coast. Laurel is learning how to raise her daughters to be emotionally balanced females without the presence of their father. Paris is still living in her troubled past but with the help of those close relationships surrounding her, she begins to know her past can be forgiven and a new way to live life and to love is possible. I also listened along with Libby audio.

Fastnade för den här för att den ser ut som en typisk sommarfeelgood och omslagsillustrationen liknar vårt lilla Kew, själva "byn", där en söt systerbokhandel till Sheen Bookshop finns. De har också nyligen utökat med en filial i Brentford. https://www.hewsonbooks.co.uk

Sedan var det #adnf-varning (chick lit-tropen att oväntat springa på ett ex, förhandla med tweenies om skärmtid och attitydregler och andra tråkfaktorer) ända tills handlingen förflyttades till Bar Harbor i norra Maine, där jag flanerade och lobsterrollade så sent som i oktober. Nu fortsätter jag läsa.

Gillade att två av de tre huvudkaraktärerna har en business och den tredje har planer, men alltför mycket dialog upptas av ämnet Män. Mycket boksnack var det då inte. Jaja, det här var en sommarbok så god som någon i trepluslittgenren (generöst avrundat uppåt).
