I keep going back to the part where she reads his letter.

I’ve read Persuasion probably 5+ times now, and it is amazing every time! Jane Austen is my all time favorite author, and this work later in her life shows her maturity and natural ability to write characters that readers fall in love with!

Before I started this book, I was warned by my professor that this is Austen’s most romantic story. This is true! The letter made me cry.

Jan 2018–2nd re-read

This book is similar in many ways to it's predecesor Pride and Prejudice. However, the novel has a deeper, more realistic side to heartbreak and romance. I find that I identify very much with the characters and story to make this a captivating read.
