These are entertaining crime novels. Like their protagonist, they get in, do the job, and get out without leaving a fuss. And I appreciate how they’re steeped in a 70s worldview, with the whole country just deciding to give up on everything. I’m really looking forward to perusing the rest of the series. It’ll probably be a semi-regular for my monthly Hard Case Crime read.

Another pulplicious classic with a salacious twist at the end. Quarry, as a character, may be a bit outdated, but it is apparent that he probably served as an inspiration for many of the neo-noire protagonists from the early 90's. A solid entry in the series and an easy read.

Another entertaining, fast paced adventure with my new favourite assassin. Great progression on the major arc so I'm already excited for the next in the series.
