Another well-deserved story from the Donna Noble era - and what a story filled with so much love!

It's the first full Doctor Who novel I've read.

I started Human Nature but it was very odd to read it with a different companion.

I can totally relate to the dynamic between Donna and her mother :) and it just felt nice to visit with those characters again.

An interesting look into the family dynamic of the Nobles, exploring more than we've seen so far on the screen, particularly exploring the effect of Geoff's passing on the family.

A slower read, focusing on The Doctor, Donna and the family more than the overarching threat.

At times The Doctor and Donna both seem to be written slightly differently than you'd come to expect but still some great moments.

I've got a decent collection of Doctor Who novels (seriously NOT a surprise to anyone that knows me!) and I have to say, this one is one of the best of all of them. Not so much for the plot/storyline, mind you... but because it acknowledges what happened to Donna, treats it with respect AND most importantly, features Wilf heavily. I adore his character & am thrilled that this story includes so much of him.
