Really cool and different recipes. So far I have tried out a few recipes, and all have turned out well. The majorette biscotti was my favourite so far, but I did make them into more manageable pieces. People did love the hint of spice that is in there, making it a huge hit!

What makes this cookbook great (beside the lovely photographs and wonderfully pink page edges) is that she not only gives recipes that she has played with, but also how to make your own infused sugars and syrups, various types of icing styles, measurement conversions and even recipes for dog treats! You can feel the love put into the recipes and that they are fun and don't take themselves to seriously. This is a cookbook that puts the joy back into baking.

A few really inventive recipes, gorgeous photography, beautiful details of the book. Returns to some well trodden baking tropes, sweet & heat, sweet & savory but there are recipes I am excited to try. A bit of repetition (like explaining what leaf lard is several times) but overall a good cookbook.

Recipes for adding a twist or kick to normally sweet desserts. If I recall correctly, the author had been a chef on private yachts for a while! A friend of mine tried a red devil cake/cupcake recipe and it wasn't really anything special. There were some fun recipes, and the pictures were helpful.
