Ughhh. Pulling out my hair at this point. My interest in Shishio is dropping really fast. I yelled when Mamura called Shishio out on his BS. Yes! Slap some sense into him! (Didn’t happen, but I wish it did.) I find it funny that at the end of the book, the mangaka says “please don’t give up on Shishio”. OKAY FINE. I’ll keep reading, but I’m not happy!

Normally I would be extremely opposed to a student-teacher relationship, and I do think she's way too young...but I think I just really like Shishio. I enjoyed the cultural festival and the unrelated other story.

I feel so many mixed emotions with this series I feel like I like it and I don’t like it at the same time. I think my main problem with the series comes from the fact that I’m my opinion the author isn’t doing enough to clarify that in no way is this relationship okay. This is my first time reading an age gap romance in manga so I’m not sure if this is a common thing or just this series.
