If Ashley Audrain's name is on a book, I'm reading it without hesitation!
"The Whispers" is a dark, twisted, and profoundly real exploration of human emotions. Audrain masterfully articulates those deep, often unexpressed feelings, making the rawness of the narrative both uncomfortable and compelling. This slow-burn novel captivates with its detailed portrayal of characters at different stages of motherhood, offering a fascinating perspective on their lives. It's an intense and rewarding read, showcasing Audrain's exceptional talent.

I read and loved The Push so I was excited to pick up this one! However the story felt unfinished to me and left me confused in ways I don't think were intended. TLDR It sucks to have kids even if you like them but you might hate them 😁
