This was a nice, quick read. The writing flowed well, and the characters were good. I liked Darius, he seemed like a good guy. For all the stuff that his father did, Darius didn't want to continue that way. Holly was biased against Darius from what her family had told her, but honestly I felt she had a legitimate reason to not trust Darius's dad. Darius and Holly had great chemistry, but this whole love story happens over the span of a weekend. That was a little hard for me to accept, that they loved each other after 2-3 days. While Darius tries to make right what his father set in motion, I felt like the older Bantham should have been called out with what he did. It was just glossed over. The ending was sweet, and they do get their HEA.

So amazing. Love a great enemies to lovers romance. Loved every second didn't want to stop reading it. I love Penny's books. They never disapoint always amazing to read. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
Quick and dirty
This has to be one of the dirtiest books by this author that I've read. But in such a good way. This book was hot hot hot, and it was just what I needed to read. It's quick, but the storyline is actually really well detailed. It's an enemies-to-lover's book, and the sexy times that take place are truly spectacular. I can't get over the dirty mouth on Darius!!

Enemies to Lovers and sort of second chance...
Enjoyable and quick read. Two people who work at opposing wineries meet up at a food and win convention. They have a tiny bit of a romantic past, but also have a tense past and present. their families have been at odds for years, so when these two have a spark and so much more they aren’t sure how it will all work out. There’s a bit of angst, naught bits, and a bit of sweetness. All in all a good read!

This was an okay book. I liked the enemies to lovers aspect but I felt it was never explained why Darius didn’t like the way his dad went about business. I felt like that was the missing element to totally Darius for me.
Also, I have to admit, I skimmed the last sex scene. It was overly repetitive and I wanted something different, or perhaps, not this at all. Again, if there had been something to differentiate it from all the others maybe I wouldn’t have, but it didn’t.
So overall this was a good enemies to lovers book, but just missing that something extra to take it to the next level.
