This book is phenomenal from chapter 25 until the end. Everything before that is really good too, (building the main characters’ personalities and their relationships with each other and the club brothers), but from 25 until the end was just great.

I liked the concept well enough but it felt like the execution needs looking at again. There was a lot of telling where the actions were concerned and a lot of verbal diahorrea, which could probably have been better built into the story.
Lucy had the premise of being interesting to observe, but in the end it was difficult to get a connection with her and she didn't really get away from the one dimension. As a matter of fact, all characters were disappointingly flat, despite plenty of avenues and opportunities to grow.
Probably needs a trigger warning as well because some of the scenes can be graphic which may not sit well with certain people.

Ahhh

Ok so the wording can be a little stilted at times; no conjunctions are used. But the story is absolutely amazing. Can't wait to read more.

No words

I wasn’t expecting much here. Just another quick read. But it is worth all five stars. Family, lovers, darkness, and love. It’s a real world scenario (to a point but like at the sometime as a whole) of a terrible nightmare. It is also a light through the tunnel redemption love story. Wow!

Great start!

I really enjoyed this story and thought that the male characters in the book were well developed and interesting. I loved how strong Lucy was but would have loved to see her as her 18 year old bad ass self more.

At age 14, Lucy had to run away from home to avoid a horrible fate. She's found in a Deathstalker's warehouse and falls under their protection. Jordan is a club prospect and assigned to watch over Lucy until her 18th birthday. The two are drawn together right away and have to fight their growing attraction to each other until she's old enough for them to act on it.

But all is not hearts and flowers... Lucy's family continues to hunt for her. When the family re-emerges, it leaves Lucy broken - but will Jordan's love be enough to bring her back?

This was such a great story, despite the terrible things Lucy had to go through. I'm looking forward to reading more about the Deathstalkers in the next book.

Lucy knows if she stays she will be living a hell there is no coming back from. She runs and finds herself seeking help from Deathstalkers MC, they agree to protect the fourteen year old girl but she has to stay out of sight and be under the watchful eye of Jordan, a prospect trying to earn his badge.

Jordan knows he is in trouble, He is attracted to Lucy but she is too young and off limits. They form a friendship until she turns eighteen and then Jordan decides it is time to claim her as his own. However now that she is of legal age, her family is around and can destroy all they are building.

Had several twists I did not see coming. I liked Lucy and I think they way she stays strong even when she feels like giving up was intense. Loved Jordan, he is so sweet and devoted to Lucy. Fast paced riveting read.
