Kotteri takes us along the daily semi-domestic experiences of a visually impaired well off runaway lady and a dashing police officer. They meet on the streets and are intrigued by each other from the start. The chapters are telling us how their relationship chronologically proceeds but with snippets. Taking a break from work to enjoy a quick lunch, while we follow their banter.
Kotteri’s artwork is stunning, with subtle changes in panels they show how the man is very thoughtful of the visually impaired woman and how he takes care of her. The colouring work is very flat and with limited colours which gives it an old production vibe.
All in all I’m completely in love with Kotteri’s work and hope all other volumes of Veil will be translated as well!

This was beautiful! I love the art style so much, it’s gorgeous. Honestly the whole vibe of this is so good. It’s a slice of life manga and I really liked how we just get different glimpses into their relationship. Aleksander and Emma are so cute together!
