As with all Natasha's books I absolutely loved this story. From reading all the rest of this series i felt I actually knew Ethan as he has been in each story so far. We have read about him growing up with loving parents who aren't a typical 2.4 children type family, but then who is these days?
His story wrecked me and although I thought that I would be ok,i wasn't, I was a sobbing mess. I could have shook him for what he did and his selfishness, but as the storyline progressed I was rooting for him and Emily.
Brilliant job Natasha and I'm glad that there will be at least one more book to this series at least.

I thought the mom died when I last stopped reading this book. What else do y up think this means:
(...)"I should go and see my mom." I say the words that have been lodged in my throat like a lump of coal.
"Ethan," he [Casey, his 'uncle'] says softly.
"She's probably going to freak out when she Chelsea [his sister] goes home in that state." I shake my head. "So might as well get the whole awkward meeting over sooner than later."
I wait for him to say what he wants to say. To say something. He looks down and then he looks up. I can see the tears in his eyes and I'm not ready for what comes next. I'm not ready for any thing he's about to say to me.
"I'm sorry, Ethan. She's gone."
How would YOU interpret this overdramatic playacting?

Oh my! Southern Sunrise left me speechless for a few days. Nothing Natasha writes anymore shocks me, but this book really did me in. The amount of crying I spent over these characters is unreal. You will definitely be met with an emotional Ethan that you will not be ready for!

All the characters in this series have such extreme immature reactions and then run for years and abandon everyone they should love.

4.5.. Ethan is angry when he learns of a secret. He leaves town not looking back. He leaves behind loved ones and isn’t thinking clearly. Emily doesn’t understand why he left and is unforgiving at first then down the road understands. They both have had heartbreak and want to be together. I enjoyed reading this and will definitely be reading the other books in this series.

Everything I expected and more

Natasha had me angry crying, sobbing in sadness, and tripping over my smiles. Every stop of the emotional spinning wheel was well earned.

Ethan made me hate him, love him, and hurt because of him. My forgiveness wasn't easily won
..but I like to think he earned it too.

Enjoy Sunrise and love wholeheartedly...

An addictive series that tugs at your heart, making you laugh and cry.

Natasha Madison brings such a depth to her characters you feel like they are real people you want to spend time with.

Ethan and Emily quickly became my favorite Southern couple. I already knew they shared a connection from the previous book but when I started this book I quickly realize that I didn’t even understand a fraction of how deep their connection is.

I loved that once Ethan realized what he wanted he wasn’t going to stop until he had her. He was most certainly a swoon worthy book boyfriend.

Ethan had an entire family he had to reconnect with and those were the moments that hurt me the most not only did I feel Ethan’s pain but also the family members because these were characters I already loved and so when they hurt so did I, so deeply to my very core I hurt with every single one of them.

I’m really looking forward to what’s to come for my favorite Southerners
