Book of the Month read: There were a lot of characters to keep track of at first, but I did enjoy the read. It touched on many interesting topics of conversation. Great for a book club.

Overall okay book. The story had several families and at times I struggled to keep up with who was who. I almost felt like I needed to take notes and honestly who wants to do that for fiction. In the end the story line took a relatively fast twist and finally ended.

There's a mystery in the neighborhood and it involves the members of the book club. Some really funny moments and a bit of a twist at the end.

I loved this book. A book about a book club? Yes, please! Even though the book club was just a small piece of this book, it was an important piece. I really enjoyed reading about the drama between all these women and within their families. I was engaged with this book from the beginning until the end. All of the women had different types of kids they were dealing with and secrets they were trying to keep. One of my favorite characters was actually Abe, the misunderstood may or may not be a sociopath son of Jen. There were plenty of twists and turns here and even though I had an inkling of a few of the things that happened, I did not have it all figured out until the very end. There were a lot of characters and a lot going on, but I didn't have any trouble keeping anyone or anything straight. Once again, I'm glad I didn't let bad reviews deter me from reading this one.

I recommend this if you like thrillers with drama.

DNF. These characters are boring and the plot is insufferably slow
