Jihuu, nyt palataan kunnolla Ruth Gallowayn juurille ja arkeologian pariin! Cathbad ja Judy ovat suosikkihahmojani ja toivon, että he eivät tästä sarjasta mihinkään mene. Myös Kate kasvattaa persoonaansa. Mielestäni tässä kirjassa oli yllättävä ratkaisu, enkä osannut odottaa sitä ainakaan kokonaisuudessaan.

Tässä kirjassa tapahtui todella paljon (ehkä liikaakin), mutta toisaalta se pakotti lukemaan kirjan aika haipakkaa. Kivikehä on myös sellainen osa sarjaa, että ei kannata lukea itsenäisenä kirjana, koska viittauksia menneeseen (varsinkin ensimmäiseen ja myös edellisiin) on runsain mitoin.

Really enjoyed this read, one of the most compelling modern murder mysteries of the series I felt! Didn’t particularly enjoy the introduction of Leif, but I did love the continuing (agonisingly slow) development of Ruth and Nelson’s relationship.
