Another classic I added to my TBR - but alas I did not like… I was hoping for league of extraordinary men Dorian, but I got a spoiled whiny rich boy who wanted to be pretty forever - thankfully spoiler alert

I didn't realize there are two versions of this book until after I finished it, and annoyingly the Librivox recording doesn't state which version this is. Based on the descriptions of the differences I found on Wikipedia, I think this recording is probably the 1890 novella, because the 1891 novel apparently has scenes and characters that aren't in this recording. However, is also sounds like the 1890 version is probably gayer, and since I read this mostly because I got curious to know "just how gay is this, really?" I can't complain.
