A solid book in the series
I very much enjoyed it!
Both their relationship and how the plot developed.
My only criticism is that their first encounter felt a bit different from the rest of the book

Summary (SPOILERS): blackmail, short captivity to marriage of convenience (las vegas), first time, neurodivergent x big man, murder.
It starts end ends pretty intense but at its core it's a sweet (and sexual) story.
I'm exited for the sister's story.

Dina is one of my favourite characters!
The beginning was rough, not bad writing, but it was intense. The ending left something to be desired. Conflict resolution felt rushed.

I think this is my very favorite Cate C. Wells book by far! Dina Wall was everything. I loved the reality of her world, how she processed information, the way she handled her neurodivergent ways (GAH, I loved that word!). I just loved everything about this book. The two totally brilliant and unique humans who found each other and were able to mesh together like the Yin and Yang ☯️. Heavy could read her, she could read Heavy, and it was magical. The ongoing story and the need for revenge, vengeance, justice, whatever it's called, is perfect. You need to read all the books to truly appreciate all the goodness that makes up Heavy and Dina. I just don't have words for how much I enjoyed this story and the love story of these two people.

Loved the H & h
Loved Heavy and Dina. But there was so little of the book that was actually about them and their relationship. Such a huge disappointment that the author didn’t do them and their relationship justice and give them a love story they deserved.

The first third of this book was so promising it was looking at four stars but the whole section abt their friends was really boring and became irrelevant to the story. Reading the middle half of the book felt like everything and nothing was going on. The chemistry bwtn Dina and Heavy was palpable, but how the third act was executed was a letdown as it felt so rushed.

Jess recommended me this book and I will never turn down a book Jess tells me to read. Honestly, I'm glad I did. I had a lot of fun reading this one. Heavy and Dina's relationship was such a joy to read. They were so much fun and their scenes together were the best parts of the book. I didn't mind the whole biker gang club parts of the book, but it did go a bit over my head. Especially with the amount of characters they introduced (it probably would help to read this series in order so the characters make more sense). Regardless, any book that involves a "where is my wife" scene is going to be loved by me.

Unfortunately this was probably my least favorite of the series. I loved watching everything wrap up, but I’m just not a fan of Dina’s character. I couldn’t relate to her, and that made it hard to enjoy the romance. I do give props to Wells, however, for writing a FMC a lot of authors probably wouldn’t. The romance and story was still great, Dina just was not likable to me.
