Unlike many people my age I didn't grow up reading Goosebumps and this is the first time I've read a book from the series.

I was unsure at the start of the book if it would work for me, there was a little too much humour that didn't amuse me, but as it continued it got darker and a little creepy and I began to quite enjoy it. The plot twist was really good.

At 129 pages (with large text) it's a very quick, fun read and I had a good time with it. I would definitely recommend it to kids.

Most accurate star rating is a 3.5. First read for the Spring Fling O'Ween readathon. A Gavin pick. Also meets the prompt for pink or yellow on the cover.

I was a little too old for these when the first came out but I loved Fear Street when I was a teenager. This book was a fun, quick read. Good characters with an interesting plot and plot twist. One of Gavin's favorite Goosebumps reads, I am glad this was my first book for the readathon.

This is the first Goosebumps book I read. It's also the first one that ever scared me.
