Underneath the literary pyrotechnics and funky, constant wordplay, this book is deeply sad.

"Life is hard. Here is someone."
she's my favorite author of all time. i took my time with this book because i had to pause several times to contemplate. well written; hilarious and devastating. i love everything she does.

Witty, bittersweet take on 80s life with an interesting experiment in point of view

I enjoy this book overall. Moore fits more simile in here than I thought possible. I'm not sure how I feel about the work 'novel' applied to 'Anagrams.' On one hand I say 'Go push the definition,' but on the other hand I say 'This already has a name: linked stories.'
