Wow! I don’t know how TJR was able to pack that much depth and emotion in less than 100 pages but she made me feel everything from angry to sad to joy! This book covers a heavy topic (Clearly noted in the title) so reader be warned.

Love this exploration of two marriages during about one year--the details and inferences that form a photo that is underexposed, not revealing everything about the situation. But the letters are enough to navigate the specific issue at hand.

Thought provoking and interesting mini-snapshot of the mid-70s. Of course it is very unlikely real letters would be used today; it would be email/text/etc.

And nice recall to Daisy Jones and the Six!

4.25 stars… This was such a heartbreaking story but it fell a bit flat towards the end. The twist at the end though did have me gasping!

This book is amazing i love Taylor style in writing so much i have first to the audio book then i have read its truelly so good. i am so curious about what happened next did David get the letter did he forgave jennet as much as i loved this book the open ending is making me so angry, so i will imagine that it is not open ending and when David find about his daughter he decided that he want to have relationship with her and her mother and they live happily ever after.

Nice, fast paced short story that sucks you in with a slightly unpredictable ending.
