Just okay

This book just did not grab my attention, and I found it a chore to continue reading but I wanted to complete my 2018 reading challenge! It was just not that well written, and I did not care for the characters. I felt it was rushed in the end to come to the conclusion

Good book but a little predictable

I was pulled in by the book and read it quickly. I enjoyed the story and characters. I took one star off just because I figured out the main culprit pretty early on in the story, but it didn’t lessen my enjoyment of the story.

Light, escapist reading--includes spies, codebreaking, Nazis, young love and English country nobles. Fun to read, easy to pick up and put down.

The book had an interesting premise: British intel trying to discover whether some upper class Britsh could be aiding the German during WWII.

However, the resolution is poor and I wanted to know more why some British were helping the Germans in WWII>

My friend Amy summed it up best- Bletchley Park crossed with Downton Abbey during WW2. It wasn’t as heavy on the code-breaking side as The Rose Code (another favorite) but I loved this story and the interweaving stories of each family member.
