This is such a fun little book! Anzu is a kaiju whose power is flowers—not much to strike at the heart of a city with. But Anzu tries to do his family proud anyway and learns that being who you are will always get you where you need to be. Beautiful illustrations & super cute idea for a story.
Minor: Violence
Anzu’s family shows how to destroy cities & you see things that appear as natural disasters with spirits running away. The text says they’re supposed to be afraid, etc. This might be scary to very young readers who are already monster frightened.
