Behold! SPOILERS await below!

This volume was definitely better than the previous one. It still wasn’t the best but it had its moments… and oh what moments it had. Particularly one single moment that made my soul leave my body.

I guess I have to talk about this moment first because otherwise I’m just gonna explode. My guys… YONA LITERALLY KISSED HAK… ON THE LIPS!!!! I can’t, I lost it back there. It came out of freaking nowhere and I was speechless (and so was Hak). It was also really funny how confused Hak was after it, literally thinking that he was dead if that happened. Yona was also hilarious because my girl was in such agony because of this one kiss. I can’t… just let them be together Kusanagi.

Anyway, there were other good things here such as Yona trading her hair pin (that the idiot Su-won gave her) for Ogi’s help. I really liked that (obviously). However, I did not appreciate that the coward Su-won didn’t come to meet Yona and just sent a servant to tell them that he’s not changing his mind. Right now I hate Su-won with a passion. Then Yona has to ask Tae-jun for help so at least that’s great.

I also really loved the wind tribe and how they obey our lord and savior Hak above the king. It was also really funny when Hak came to them and scolded the tribe for not yet managing to get along with the people of Xing… and then they were all just so happy to see him so that was wholesome.

Overall, this wasn’t great but it was pretty good with some solid and some exceptional moments. For that, I’m giving it 4 stars and I hope that the climax of this arc will be great because the build-up is definitely there.
