Another instalment of the great boy vampire series :D

I was honestly starting to lose steam again, but at least I got to book 9 this time. I hope I can finish the series, but they'll probably be more spaced out.

I love the ending of this one, but the fake happy end was just... ARGH!
I was so looking forward to seeing Mika Ver Leth and the other vampires again that I almost bought into it. And then the chapter ended... Curse you for making me care so much about all these characters Master Shan! And double curse you for killing off Mr. Crepsley! I liked that snarky mentor slash dad-figure for Darren, h kept him from doing stupid things (most of the time anyway)

I wonder what our little Vampire Prince will get up to in the next book. Desmond Tiny is coming back, and it has something to do with Harkat (well, that's what I got from the preview anyway). I get chills whenever there's a Des Tiny-scene (he's so... awesomely evil :D)
And I love Harkat Mulds, he's one of the saner characters if you really think about it.

Let's wait a while, digest this book and hunt down the next: 'Lake of Souls'
