So well written, oh my goodness. Love the different points of views each chapter. And I love this ragtag group of criminal Crows. As a mobility aid user it was refreshing to see Kaz use a cane and still be a fully fleshed-out character!

I really liked the plot of the book and did not expect the ending to be so questioning! Overall I really think this fits in with the Grishaverse.

l have never felt so utterly transported into a universe, like I literally felt like I was alongside the characters throughout the heist. Like, I’m glad I wasn’t because I’d definitely die, but it was still fun.

THE CHARACTERS. I JUST LOVED THEM SO MUCH. They’re so well developed and have the best personalities. I genuinely wish they were real.

The back of the book describes it as ‘Ocean’s Eleven set in a Game of Thrones-esque world’, and it is exactly that.

So many twists and turns, so many clever plot points, endless times when you think it’s all going to come crashing down and then suddenly the plan has been there all along and it all clicks in to place.

Can’t wait to read the second book.

I really really loved this book a bit more than the Shadow and Bone trilogy but I did find it annoying that its called Six of Crows and it was only Kaz, Inej, Jesper, Nina and Matthais who had chapters and not Wylan. Poor Wylan was just shoved to the side :(.

The beginning fight with the Black Tips didnt seem necessary to me and it felt like it was delving away from the story

otherwise i am a Helnik Kanej and Wylan truther.

10/10. All of the characters are so unique and compelling. I liked this book ten times better than Shadow and Bone. I am usually not into heist books or mystery novels but heist + fantasy + found family + a little bit of heartwrenching romance? Definitely my jam. I love that the book has alternating point of views between the characters but still in third person. Also, the book was able to surprise me at every turn which is not my experience with most books.

I only have two critiques: I wish all the characters were just a few years older. To me, especially the romances would be more compelling but the characters would also be more developed. Also, I think that the beginning of the book was a bit muddled and seemed to have too much all at once for introducing a new setting/social scene. Even though I read Shadow and Bone, I was still confused and disoriented about introducing how everything works in Ketterdam, especially since the characters are already established there instead of learning along with the reader.
