I loved this cute lil warm hug of a book. Very cozy and just warms the heart, cute romance too and interesting magic system. Perfect!

Aside from one short steamy scene in the book, this is a family-friendly and uplifting story. I had so much fun with all the characters and delving into the interesting storyline. The book is full of a magical atmosphere as the characters grow and the plot and storyline progress.

This is for the girlies who run away when they experience any negative feelings.

I read this because I wanted something with the found family trope and this book delivered. The characters are super diverse and one of the young witches was rescued from Palestine, which made my heart ache just a little 🥲

Two things I wasn't expecting at all were the twist in the second part of the book and that couple of steamy scenes but neither felt out of place, so it added to the whole experience.

Looking forward to read more from this author 💖

I can safely say that this book lived up to its expectations.

I liked the unconventional family and the love they have for each other.
The story of Mika and Jamie's upbringings explains why they are the people they are today.

I liked that we could experience both the quirky characters and serious themes of family, sacrifice, and the dilemma between being safe but lonely and having a support system but living with the risk of being discovered as a witch.

The plot twist got me good! The last 30 pages really sealed the story.

4/5 stars because it was almost too short
