Niamh is a character we’ve been seeing throughout the True Immortality books as the resident seer, we also meet Kiyo in Kiss of Vengeance, these two paired up was more than I expected and I love every second. This book jumped right into things and I could not put it down. Kiyo was a reluctant bodyguard but So much action pack in ad points where I did not see coming. I did love the Japanese setting and the talk of all the food made me hungry. Niamh and Kiyo’s chemistry was there in full force and hit you square in the face. A great continuation in this magical world and I cannot wait to read more in 2021!!

This was so good. Maybe my favorite of the series. Once again, an intense slow burn, but once they got together their relationship was soo sweet.

This is book 3 in the series, but each book is a different couple. This time we get Kiyonari the only immortal werewolf and Niamh, a fae. It is a slow-burn. I definitely enjoyed the story, the sexual tension was thick. The whole storyline is very interesting and I like the world-building S. Young created for the series. I love the angst element of it all and I want to see what happens next. I liked that the author gave a great summary to get my head back in place and for anyone who is reading it as a stand-alone it gives the important points. I will wait to find more in Bitten by Deception, there are still some things I want to read about and hopefully we get them all in the final installment.

In ‘Bound By Forever’ we meet Niamh. Niamh is one of seven fae children born into the human world with the ability to open the gate to Faerie. Yes, she is fae.. But she was born from a human mother and has always wanted the normal things in life: love, friendship.. peace. But she is definitely not ‘normal’. Her life has been all about making sure the other Faerie’s stay on the right path and don’t open the gate. But after her brother was murdered, she has trouble staying under the radar of her enemies. Without Niamh’s knowledge, werewolf Kiyo has been giving the task to keep Niamh save from her enemies.. and especially herself.

Kiyo has been a werewolf for many years and he is unlike any of his kind. Kiyo is cursed with immortality and has always been on his own. He is definitely one you would call cold. He has known all kinds of hurt and he promised himself never to ‘feel’ much again. And Kiyo definitely exceeds at that.. Until he meets Niamh. Niamh is almost to good! She is kind, even if people don’t really deserve it. And from the moment Niamh and Kiyo meet there is a connection between the two of them. And unfortunately a lot of drama too.

‘Bound By Forever’ was definitely another great book by S. Young. From the moment I started reading, I was completely hooked to the story and the characters. The chemistry between Niamh and Kiyo is flying of the pages, and I just loved those two so much. They are very different. While Niamh can easily admit to herself she is attracted to Kiyo. Kiyo tries his hardest to be cold and unkind to Niamh. And he definitely tries to convince himself he doesn’t feel anything for the fae except a sense of duty. I loved reading this book through both Niamh and Kiyo’s point of view.

Although the romance was really bloody good, and made me swoon from the beginning till the very end, their was also a lot of suspenseful moments that kept me sitting on the edge of my seat. Their where several moments throughout this read I found myself unable to do anything but keep on reading just so I would know what was going to happen next.

The paranormal aspects in this series is also something I love. I love the paranormal stuff, but especially when you can almost imagine it to be something real. And in this series I can easily imagine myself walking besides the characters. (Definitely not as cool as these characters though! LOL!)

What I also loved was seeing and hearing little bits about the characters from the previous two books. These characters are all connected, but you can definitely still read this book as a standalone.

I for one can’t wait to read the next book in this series! ‘Bound By Forever’ is definitely going on my Favorite Reads of 2020 list!

Bound by Forever is the latest release by S. Young or Samantha Young in the Immortality series but the first one I’ve read by this author.

Bound by Forever is an incredible paranormal romance and kept me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. I loved the main characters, Niamh (pronounced Neev) and Kiyo. Niamh is a faerie who is on a mission which is powered by visions that she gets.

When Niamh is out one evening, she’s kidnapped by a werewolf, Kiyo. Kiyo has a secret that practically no one knows and he likes to keep it that way. You see, Kiyo is a lone wolf and any type of long term relationship whether it be friendship or romance just doesn’t agree with him.

Kiyo is tasked with protecting Niamh as the warrior fae king is aware that Niamh is in danger. She’s become too complacent with using her powers in front of humans and she needs to be protected from the forces that want to use her powers.

The banter in this book between the characters is fantastic and gives the book a bit of lightness throughout the serious storyline. The development of the characters is phenomenal and so well written.

The twists and turns of this book were incredible and kept the reader enthralled from start to finish. I highly recommend this book and the entire series as it brings all the various paranormal worlds together to make an incredible series!
