4.5 stars. The original story is one of my favorites from Stephen King. This graphic novel adaptation stays very true to the source material while also adding a bit more.
Really, really liked this graphic novel. Creepy and cool. Good stuff.
Chilling and visually impactful. I admit that I have nor yet read the short story it is based on, from Uncle Steve's collection Just After Sunset, but I get the sense that this medium enhances the text version. It is a tale of infectious madness and obsession, and of terrible things just beyond our reality. The source of horror remains hidden throughout, making it a very human story.
As with the Gunslinger graphic novels, this was a perfectly adequate adaptation. If you’re more into comics then regular reading and you’ve been wanting to try Stephen King, this is a good option. But, for me as a true Constant Reader...it just wasn’t as good as the source material. And I LOVED this short story. Out of all the stories in Just After Sunset, it’s the one that stuck with me.
Pretty good

I just finished re-reading the short story "N." This comic is fairly faithful to the source material. It expands the story a bit, but not enough to be essential. Worth reading if you are a comic fan, or a King completist.

3.5. Good adaptation, but I think the actual story King wrote was better.
