When I received this ARC I had no idea it was book two so going in I had nothing to expect. I enjoyed the blurb but liking Eric I wish I had gotten part one first. Jules is taken by her Uncle in this one and dragged back to Chicago to do his bidding or suffer.
What did I like? Although mafia style is not my go to this one had a spark of romance that I enjoyed. Eric being a small town cop and Jules just being a sweet innocent. Jules goes through a harrowing kidnapping but the return is so sweet. Four stars!
Would I recommend or buy? I’d love the first part... the romance aspect was really quite good. Be sure to get the first one and read in order. The kidnapping was an ordeal but the HEA worth it!
