I thoroughly enjoyed this story and if you're looking for a Christmas story that's a little bit different then this ones for you!

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

It was difficult to differentiate the characters due to the plain writing style.

A great Christmas read— like a Hallmark movie as a book. The ending was too abrupt for me though.

The Holiday Swap was such a lovely story. As a huge fan of 'The Holiday' I bought this book the second I saw it! I always loved the idea of swapping lives with someone and this book didn't disappoint. Right away I fell into the lives of these women and I didn't want to stop reading. The settings were gorgeously written and I felt as if I was living their lives too. This is a great festive romance that I would highly recommend!

While I enjoyed this story while I was reading it, it didn't really inspire me to find more of Stoneley's books, and I don't really see myself going back to this one.  It was a little too heavy on the "finding the right man fixes all your problems" (and I say this as someone who is happily married), and so it ended up feeling like neither of the women really grew that much - they just switched out their loser boyfriends for nice ones.  It also seemed like it ended kind of abruptly - this is definitely a book that would have benefited from a little epilogue from a few years later talking about how happy everyone is.

I think I have read most of Zara Stoneley's Tippermere books and enjoyed them all. This story and slightly different characters and settings was even more satisfying than the previous.
You sort of know what will happen but both stories are credible and set in a relationship place. I do love Aries that follow characters but also, as in this case, series which follow a place so main characters in previous books are in the corners of this tale.
More please.
