This was such a satisfying novella. (Also, THAT COVER!) It was super sweet and romantic. I prefer my romances to stay focused on the MCs and keep the secondary story lines to a minimum. In this romance, however, I really enjoyed seeing a married couple deal with real life while juggling their own relationship issues – managing a household, launching young adult children, dealing with death of parents, accepting the fact that people change (emotionally and physically) as they age and mature, etc. Some younger readers might not think this sounds romantic, but I really appreciate romances that remind me that love does not end at 29.
