This entire series is SO AMAZING. Easily one of my favorite series I have read & it got me out of my reading slump when I finished the After series. This is a forbidden/toxic love that turns into the most epic story. Winter & Haze go through a lot of struggles to finally reach their relationship. This first book starts off with addressing & building the characters plus their relationships with each other. Eliah did an amazing job developing such a strong connection with these 2 right off the bat. I really felt connected to all of the characters involved in this story from the start! There is angst, violence, jealousy, fear & lots of sexual tension. I loved this book so much that I could not put it down! I finished the series in 2 1/2 DAYS!! THE SPICE in this series is amazing. We don't see much between them besides sexual tension in this title because it is the 1st of the trilogy. The building of the intensity though was spot on!
reading a Wattpad book in your 20's is depressing af, I imagine 13 year old me would've died for Haze's bad boy antics but now I'm just like:

I LOVED THIS BOOK! So much so that I literally didn’t sleep in order to finish it. This book captivated me from the start. Winter is the strong heroine who doesn’t answer to anyone and looks challenges right in the eye. Haze is a dreamboat who confesses his biggest fears in Winter not realziing she may be the one person to bring him out of his dark hole. Everything about this book is great. The Gangs, street fights, loyalty, literally everything! I cant wait for book 2 and to see how it all ends up! If you’re looking for a book about loyalty, enemies to lovers and finding your place in this world then this book is for you.
