I almost DNFed this cause i got so mad at a 'plot twist', but there were only like 30 pages left so I didn't. Still giving three stars because I enjoyed the book mostly up until then (or until the dog scene that is). Although I feel like I read two books of character development for nothing, so thanks for that Philip Pullman.
