I read this to pass the time. I didn’t know there was a second book and will probably just read it to finish the story (can’t leave anything unfinished).

The characters seem too one dimensional to me, like they are fun and nice but there isn’t anything deep about them. They say they are deep but they don’t show it. The way they talk irks me, but just because I am not used to reading it.

I do like the way Antron treats Nitoya and how their relationship is building up, and the instant love he has for her baby and his protectiveness. Probably will read the second book just for that.

funny how the guy was introduced as someone who likes collecting body parts and has a shrine of them and the rest of the book pretended as if he’s normal…. lol.

Proper review on the wordy habitat.

I’m such a sucker for a man loving up on a single mama and claiming her kids and that’s exactly the type of man Antron is. I don’t know why Toy was trying to resist. He stepped up from day one and showed her how love with a good man could really be.

Tron being a killer is hard to believe when he’s like the perfect man. The way he came through and stepped up for Toya and her girls? Immaculate. Corey is ain’t ish. I knew Prudence was going to be on her ish. I was mad at Toya at the beginning when she up and moved for a ,an who was married and expecting a child. Genesis is a real one.

But the biggest thing, is the way that Tron spoke to Toya and claimed her. That’s a real man right there.  Stepdad of the year.
