i definitely preferred this over the first set of duologies. i think the characters were more unique and the political intrigue was more expansive. only issue i had with this was the repeated scenes and plot lines. ik the books are interconnected and not a series but i got so bored..

my heart actually aches like this took me a while to get through but i ended up not wanting it to end bc i knew my heart would be broken and ykw ….. i was right. i really love these books and the characters and how fast paced things are like SO much happened in this book and im so scared for the next one. will these characters ever have a happy ending?
