This was a fun little novella for the Salvation series. I had actually read the rest of this series first so it was fun to see the story of these two characters

Holy Hulk and the return of those handsome SEAL men! Ben and Gretchen’s story was not nearly as long as it needed to be. Ben couldn’t be any sweeter and fit in to that hot SEAL group just perfectly. Gretchen with the girls was also just as fun to take a ride with as well. Ben and Gretchen finding their way back into each other’s lives with the possibility of love, made this an amazing second chance book. Can’t wait for everyone to get their hands on this book and fall in love all over again.

I've been listening to this series non-stop, and this novella hit just as hard as the full-length novels. Gretchen was the jilted bride left on her wedding day, and Ben has his own broken and tortured past. They were childhood friends who hadn't seen each other since school days, and I loved so much watching them rekindle that bond they had. But while we got glimpses of their childhood friendship, it was them growing together as adults that was truly wonderful.

I love this couple, and I'm glad they got a novella, even if I wanted even more of them! It was also great getting to see the rest of the crew in this story as well. They're one big family, and I love how they continue to stick together. It has me so excited to read Ashton and Quinn's story next!

Evermore is a novella set within the Salvation series by Corinne Michaels. I haven't read all of the Salvation books, but I loved seeing some of my favorite characters again, er, MARK! This is Ben and Gretchen's story. It's short, sweet, and just the right amount of wooing and heat! They were childhood friends and after years apart they are finally getting their chance. Second chance at love, second chance to be who they want to be, for each other. I fell in love with Ben as soon as he opened his mouth! What a strong, loving, smart, sexy character he is! Gretchen is stronger than she thinks and just needs to trust in herself again. If this is your first Corinne novel, take a chance! You'll love these characters and you'll want more, just remember Mark is mine! :)
"Anything interesting? Ben's deep voice causes me to jump and fall out of my chair.
"Holy shit!
"You all right?
"I wouldn't been if you'd made a noise."
Ben chuckles. "I was trained not to."
"Well, they did a good job."

"I'm going to kiss you, Ben."

"I'm right here, babe."

I literally said “awwwww” so many times throughout this story.

Ben and Gretchen are so dang cute together it’s cavity producing! (In the best way of course lol)

Jason Clarke and Virginia Rose give these tow the perfect voices!

This book was so perfect for their childhood love to turn to grown up love. ❤️❤️
