Final Girls is about 3 girls Quincy, Lisa and Samantha, who are sole survivors of three separate massacres grouped together by the press. But then something terrible happens, Lisa is found dead in her bathtub.

I was so excited to read this since the last time i lied by the same author was so good and i expected this one to be good one too. But i am disappointed.

This book is annoyingly slowwwwww and tbh nothing happens till the last 100 pages. The FMC was annoying!! the choices she made wanted me to punch her in the face. Quincy baked okay i get it but do we need to read it again and againnnnn??? 😒

Also i read that she took Xanax with grape soda one more time i will just hit my head on the wall.

And the twist?? i pretty much guessed it. Therefore the book was a major disappointment.

Booksta hyped it for no good reason 🙂

It was good but predictable. I like the way this author tells stories.

one of the more "thrilling" thrillers that i've read that isn't afraid to be gorey, graphic, and violent.

i'm surprised to see that the popular opinion online is that this is a super slow to start book. i couldn't disagree more. i feel like the plot and character development was well paced, and easy to digest.

i just enjoy the way riley sager writes his lead women. they feel well fleshed-out and three dimensional. i can't speak on how he portrays addiction as that is something i have never experienced first hand.

my bigger issue was jeff's relevance. i thought that his "big case" that he was working on in chicago would have held some significance to everything else that was unfolding. he was just kind of there, and held no value to the plot.

overall, i really enjoyed this book and would say it's one of riley sager's stronger novels with a solid mystery!
