This is 50 pages on the lives of Lilias Trotter & Amy Carmichael. It does have a page or two in the back talking of their similarities & differences reminding us that we don't have to be like Amy or Lilias but instead the person God designed us to be.
I'm not sure what the target audience is. As an adult, I enjoyed it. I believe I would have in High School, as I loved reading about missionaries. I still love period writings.
The author did a good job of collecting interesting stories, so that it doesn't come across as dry facts. It has amazing artwork throughout & the lives of these two women were truly strong & courageous and their adventures daring.
I think this would be a good gift for a teen girl that has a heart to help the needy. It's also a good read for anyone that wants to know more about these two women & not invest in a full book. It did leave me with a desire to learn more about them, so it's a gateway book, for me.
