Seven Shakespearean actors are in their fourth year at an elite arts academy and have crossed the line into Bardolatry, often using Shakespeare to account for their bad behavior. But one player ends up dead and someone has to take the tragic fall. The final twist was obvious but still very satisfying.
This was such a fun read! I am no Shakespeare scholar by any stretch but the plays and passages Rio uses to weave her tale are recognizable, even to someone who last read Romeo & Juliet 30 years ago :P.

A very movie-like book - you get to know the characters enough and throughout the book they make choices accordingly to their being; with their flaws and mistakes driving the story forward, each of them (at least semi-) actively contributing to it and not just observing. At times a bit weirdly parted out but otherwise very beautifully written
