I was ten years old the first time I realized I was strange.

Dark, dangerous things happened around the Hollow sisters.

“Lose your way to the Mad Max set, Furiosa?”
“Like you can talk, Hermione.”

The things I could make people do when they were high on me.

Both of my sisters were the great loves of my life. I couldn’t live without them. I didn’t want to.

What the hell was going on?

“Some people go missing because they want to; some go missing because they’re taken. And then there are the others— those who go missing because they fall through a gap somewhere and can’t claw their way back.”

“This seemed like such a good and noble idea ten minutes ago,” Tyler said. “I forgot that I’m not a good or noble person.”
I love Tyler 🤣

My sisters. My blood. My skin. What a gruesome bond we shared.

Thoroughly enjoyed this book! It would make such a great movie one day! It was eerie, dark, and a little disturbing at times lol but I could not put it down. I love the plot and the pacing. I love Iris, Vivi, and Tyler! The audiobook is really good too. I think I'll reread this someday!

I really liked this book overall. The story was super intense and engaging, and it sucked me in right away. The character relationships were really deep and interesting.
The only thing I didn’t like was that the gore was a bit too much for me, to the point where I felt nauseous during the last third of the book.

⚠️TW/CW: Death (children and adults), gore, body horror, suicide, sexual assault, murder, and sexual harassment⚠️

This book was unbelievable. Like... I don't even know what to say... Well for starters I will definitely be reading some more books by this author because holy shit. The way this book is written and the way things are described... disgusting (in a good way). I felt so many emotions during this book. I felt sad, shocked, disgusted, horrified, and even sick at some points. The relationship between the sisters didn't help. It's such an animalistic and uncomfortable relationship and it feels right at home in this book. The twists towards the end of this book had be screaming at the book. I had to take multiple breaks because my heart was racing. I would also just like to throw in that I started this book a week before I went on vacation where I didn't read anything and I would still constantly think about this book. After the vacation I picked the book back up and I was immediately invested all over again. This book was so good I remembered all the details the whole month later! I definitely won't be able to describe how amazing this book is because I would be typing for literal hours because there are so many things I want to talk about. So instead of typing all that take this review as a sign to pick up this book!

I can only read so much about how beautiful and ethereal and mysterious 3 girls are.

I didn't like the end. It felt like an odd colour patch sewn on a new dress. I could have understood (not forgiven) her choice if she planned to publish a second book, but in my opinion the book worth plummeted because of it.
Tyler's death was the most emotional moment of the book, his choice of not being seen by Grey something complex that left a bad aftertaste in my mouth (I'm all for good endings) but understandable and even admirable. Not nice, but a good choice. The epilogue felt like the publisher compelled the author to write a "happy ending" for Tyler too, or something like that. Why would Iris chose to go back to him after he refused the first time? Why would he refuse to go back with the love of his life but would do so with Iris? I could have understood so if framed as giving him a second chance, but it felt like Iris lost all her character development in a moment
