ANOTHER UNEXPECTED 5 ⭐ READ. i love everything about this book- the plot, the characters, AND OMG THE WRITING. its super realistic and poetic at the same time but you can still understand it cuz it doesn't have too much of figurative speech where u have to analyze what this or that means (which is what i dont like hehe)

So much creepier than I expected. And so nicely written. Great examples of simple things made wrong and scary. And gut-wrenching sisterhood (/being a daughter).

What an eerie, creepy book! I really enjoyed reading this. I was spook with notes of fairytale (the Grim kind), magic and so much death imagery. I don't seem to enjoy many horror books, but this one was written so well and I enjoyed the magic and the otherworldly aspects to it.

i loved this soo much
4.5 stars but i rounded down because it was just missing that feeling of it being a 5 star book however i might come back sometime in the future and change it to a 5 star rating
