This was my least favorite book from the Windsor series. My girl Celeste could not catch a break. Why did everyone hate her so much? She literally watched her best friend die right in front of her eyes believing she was the reason why. I understand her friend was mentally ill but why wouldn’t she trust her only friend whose last words were that she was cheated on? Everyone only cared about Zane and his feelings, what about Celeste? Imagine being surrounded by that much hate. She didn’t deserve all that. Also the book never explains the break up. We just get little snippets here and there. And it was very, very repetitive. I kind of hoped that when the 3 years was up that she’d walk away, but shocker she doesn’t. Zane is officially the worst windsor and Lexington is right behind him with his rude ass comment. Hopefully the next two books are better. 1.75/5

I LOVE YOU SO MUCH CATHARINA I CRIED SO MUCH I LOVED THEM SO MUCH THANK GOD THEY WENT TO THERAPY

Zane and Celeste book is absolutely heartbreaking but has a beautiful happily ever after. This book threw so many twists at me it was crazy, I especially love that I get emails from Catharina’s newsletter updating me on this lovely couple and all the previous ones

I cried. Again. And a lot.

First off I love this series and every book proceeding this one, and I think if this was the first book I would have been more hesitant to get read the rest, and I remember the author saying this book was difficult to write. It was difficult to read as well.

We have an enemies to lovers, to enemies, to lovers... to enemies, to lovers.... endless cycle. This book is just so much angst and whiplash. There isn't much to the story beyond they used to hate each other, they hate bang, they love each other, they don't trust each other and on and on. Cheating accusation, fake break up, get back together. It seemed to be drawn on for far far too long, and the last ~25% I skimmed just trying to get it done with.

I went through a rollercoaster of emotions while reading this. It was honestly almost a 3 star read for me solely because of how infuriating Celeste was. Everything she did to Zane was evil AF, and I get the fact that she was grieving but she did not give that man the benefit of the doubt at all and that made me so angry. She literally almost put that man in PRISON all because of a lie 😡 I really don’t like the direction Zane and Celeste story went in but it pulled me back in at the end. Their story was wrapped up so beautifully that I even cried and not many books have the ability to make me cry so that is why I rated it 4 stars. They overcame so much and I’m glad they got their happily ever after!

This is definitely my favorite book of the series!! It was so heartbreaking but also so beautiful!!
