I don’t even know where to start with this book! This is by far one of my favorites of The Windors Series and also one of the most emotional books I have read this year. This book absolutely destroyed me!
The love story between Zane and Celeste isn’t like all the other second chance books. This one was so emotionally raw and real! Without giving away too much all I can say is this is a must read book!
“She’s like a drug to me. I know I’m better off without her, but I can’t resist her either. I crave Celeste Harrison with every breath, every heartbeat.”

Main couple? Toxic. Grandma? Still wreaking havoc and staying alive against everyone's wishes. Book? Too freaking long. It's not even revealed why Grandma and other side Grandpa had issues....
If the other characters from the series were not here I would have been crying at the 40% mark.....

Rivals to lovers, second chance, insecurities, betrayal
It was really long, storyline was good but kept getting dragged out.
I kept trying to figure out what actually happened, thought it was the granddad, then thought maybe lily faked her death and wanted to rip them apart. Here’s being sick was an option too that came to mind during the memorial and I was right.

When I put this book down; I had to think hard about how I was going to get over the book hangover with this.
The Broken Vows is definitely my top 5 star reads of the year. If I could rate 6 stars, I would. Catharina absolutely knows what a reader looks for in their fictional men and she surpasses our expectations with every Windsor brother written.
This storyline broke my heart is every way it could. Had I been reading a physical version of this, my book would’ve just been filled with tears. Despite what the world had thrown towards them, they always managed to get back to each other and worked on strengthening their love.
I would absolutely sell my soul to read the book again because I don’t think I’ve ever felt so connected with the characters the way I did with this book

OH MY DAYS IT WAS SO LONGGGGG AGHHHGHG
it was excruciating pain this book
There’s like 300 pages on the past which you have to read
A massive miscommunication trope which I despise
IT WAS HELLA LONG
my sanity was the the guys and the girls friendship

Zane Windsor and Celeste
They are family rivals first formed through betrayals between their families in the hotel industry. They fell in love despite their families’ opposition but broke up because of trust issues (no cheating) and familial pressure. Zane’s family fell in love with Celeste and were heart broken too when she left. They got back together due to an arrange marriage after 5 years of being apart and there was never a time when they do not love each other. They came back stronger and he calls her my Celestial. They have a child (seen 10 yrs later) named Calista.
Celeste’s best friends are Sierra and Raven and they support each other through and through.
The only thing that made this book 4 stars was the beginning, I made myself crawl through the first 25%. This made me cryyy they taught me that love isn’t enough, you have to choose each other every day and fight for one another. It is a choice to stay
Lex’s book I believe is the final book in the series as he is the last brother. He was arranged married (as all of them was) to Raya.

Zane Windsor is forced to marry Celeste Harrison, heiress to the Harrison Developments. Little does the family know that there is potent history surrounding these two. Will they find their way back to each other? Or will the cracks only grow deeper?
Catharina starts their story in a perfect world. Zane & Celeste allow each other in their lives but the joy is short-lived. I enjoyed the build of their relationship. However, it was the way they found each other AGAIN is what made me a Catharina fan all over again!
Celeste's vulnerability, in particular, during the process pained me deeply. Zane's presence through it all served as a cooling salve.
My only qualm was the rift -- the reason of the rift, per se. I think, it could have been resolved through honest conversation and believing in each other. Maybe, that's the pacifist in me speaking!!
Overall, it took me through a lot and is definitely worth a read!
