I started reading this book because of a quote on TikTok lol. It definitely was such a quick read but it wasn’t the best. I enjoyed reading about their past but DAMN the “future” part was brutal and hard to read. I was counting down the chapters till I was done tbh

That was my least favorite so far in this series. Though I loved the rest this one didn't make sense to me. It is actually two parts one in the past and second in the present. Regarding everything that both MC went through I expected something bigger to happen in order to reconcile. The least I can say is that I'm disappointed
These two. Oh man. The angst and anger and resentment I could feel vibrating through my kindle while reading their story. Truly at times I couldn’t understand how either of them could come back from the damage done by Celeste’s best friend. I know it wasn’t intentional, but god it broke my heart for both of them. Watching them heal and accept their own faults in their demise made it so I could barely sleep until I was finished with this book. It only took me two days because I still had to work in the meantime.
She sends him to jail. LITERAL JAIL. And he's still obsessed with her?? And then 5 years later when she FINALLY wants to believe he didn't cheat on her then he decides they're not good for each other? But then all she has to do is smile and all is forgiven. Sigh
idc that it made me cry so much my head started pounding ˙◠˙ was wonderful and i'd do it again .
