I expected so much from this book. But it didn't reach its expectations. I just don't think Celeste loved Zane the way he deserved or the way he loved her. First she just didn't believe him although he tried to do everything to prove his innocence and then stab him in back. And when he did same with her business she put blame on him. I hate that even after clearing the 6 years of misunderstanding she still doubted him and thought he would cheat on her. Like the pain she gave him for 6 years was not enough. I just didn't understand at last whole thing turn into him apologizing and begging her for a chance and try to trust him even after she was the one who doubted him, she should've been the one who do the efforts of apologizing not the other way around.
I liked Past chapters and last 2 chapters and epilogue. Zane Windsor is the loml <3.

And I can't believe ppl are siding with her like idgaf about her groveling or whatever SHE HAD TO DO IT ANYWAY SHE TRAUMATIZED THE BOY
And what's all about her not believing him even after watching the records of the cameras? Like for God's sake
Calling yourself a "bestfriend" but not knowing your friend's condition?.. Ok let's buy the shit that her friend didn't tell her.. Didn't you notice it somehow?.. Weren't you with her your whole life?
Idgaf fr Zane deserves better
And oh I hope the grandma die soon ❤️
